This past weekend has TWO parts because we spent 1/2 the weekend at home and then went up north for a couple days for a relaxing, beach/pool vacay!
FRIDAY
I spent the day playing chasing Olivia around and being her human jungle gym! haha Friday night we went up to the resort and had dinner with Jer. Dinner was AMAZING and their pink moscato was EXACTLY what I needed! haha
SATURDAY
Saturday Olivia & I got up, Olivia had breakfast and then we went for a walk. Our downtown area was doing "Art Walk" where all the shops were having sidewalk sales and featuring art from local artists. There is an art studio downtown as well and you could vote for certain categories such as furniture, paintings, etc.
My cute "walking" partner
During our walk I also got asked how old "he" is, referring to Olivia. Maybe you can't see but she has a bow in her hair, is wearing pink, polka dots and has flowers on HER sandals. People are so dumb...
Moving on, while we were downtown we stopped at a spot for breakfast!
Cheerios for Liv, Chocolate Croissant for mama
After our walk I gave Olivia a bath and we hung out with Jer. We had lox and bagels for lunch! (Yum, one of my faves!) Then Jer had to head back to work so Liv and I napped. After nap time we went and ran some errands, Target included where I got Olivia this ADORABLE skirt in the next few sizes!
Only $2!!!!!!
For Dinner I tried this Chicken Spaghetti recipe! It says in the recipe it is bland so I adapted it a bit. I added garlic and s&p and also added in sauteed mushrooms. It turned out SO good!!
I spent the rest of the night cleaning and doing laundry! I didn't want to come back from our relaxing vacay to a messy house!
SUNDAY
We "slept in" and then got our selves ready & packed. Then hit the road...
Part II will include the rest of the day of sunday and then our vacay up until Tuesday!
How was YOUR weekend?
P.S. SPEARMINT BABY featured a picture of Olivia! Check it out! :)

So first of all I have been a TERRIBLE blog reader lately! But I am loving that we are twitter/insta/fb friends so I can keep up with y'alls little lives :-)
I love her little sandals! She is always dressed so sweet & its obvious she is a girl, not sure how that could be mistaken especially since I don't see too many baby boys in lime green and polka dots. ;)
She’s seriously the cutest little girl!!! Love her little ponytail and bow! And those sandals; I die!!! Adorable!!!! And HELLO she looks nothing like a little boy. Idiot!! It really bugs me when people do that. I mean, if you’re not 100% then just don’t even say anything. Ya know??
Such a cute picture of her on Spearmint baby!!
my mom would have me in pink, with a bow, and flowers galore (like throw up in your mouth, hello i'm a girl!) outfits, and people would tell my mom i was a handsome fella' -_- people just dont pay attention. she is adorable, cant wait to see part 2 :)
