Jeremy & I had planned to get Olivia a Home coming gift when she originally came home from the NICU but when we were actually given the news that we would be bringing Olivia home on August 11th, we just didn't have time!
So this year on Olivia's Home coming anniversary we decided that this gift would be a symbol for Olivia not only for her Home coming anniversary but also the day she came home.
We got Olivia a silver charm bracelet. The 2 charms have meaning for us. The first charm is the rocking horse, this one is a symbol for Olivia's homecoming on August 11th 2011. We chose the rocking horse because when Olivia was in the NICU Jeremy made a promise to her that if she pulled through, made it and got to come home with us he would get her a pony. (because doesn't every little girl want a pony?)
The second charm is a baby shoe with an emerald, Olivias birth stone. We chose this one for Olivias anniversary because she is our princess and every princess deserves her own jewels!
For now the charms are sautered on the bracelet, but when the time comes when Olivia will need an adult bracelet they can just be clipped off and put onto a bigger chain.
We can not wait to add more charms as the years go on for different holidays and other milestones in Olivias life!!

Precious!!!
Oh Megan I love this...what a precious gift! I love that she can use it forever :-)
Megan - this made me cry!! How meaningful, special and precious. I love how Jeremy told her that he would get her a pony, but it broke my heart that it was if she pulled through, made it and came home. Those are words that no parent ever wants to have to say to their child. God is so great and you guys have a living miracle!!!
I love charm bracelets - little memories all together!
And her shirt - so awesome!
