Guest Post Meg: {O. is Me!}

Hi, everyone! My name is Meg O. and I blog over at O. is Me! If you like makeup, babies, and other random things, you probably will enjoy my blog. So come on by and say hi!

Yep, that's me!
First of all, a huge thank you to Megan for having me today! I hope you're having an awesome family vacation!

I am an unofficial beauty blogger and officially makeup obsessed. So, naturally, it's only fitting if I post about makeup today.

I wanted to give you a short list of my favorite things of all time! This was a really hard list to make because I have so many favorite beauty items, but I did narrow it down for you guys. I wanted to focus on the things that I use daily or that I keep repurchasing. If I repurchase something, that is momentous because I am so makeup ADD!

So, let's get right to it, shall we?

I have tried all sorts of foundations, from high end to drugstore. In fact, my makeup drawer currently houses about 7 different foundations. Out of all the millions I've tried, I just keep coming back to Revlon Colorstay. It provides amazing coverage, stays put, and doesn't become an oil slick on my not so dry (read: teenager oily) face. I did a more thorough review of the product here, if you'd like to check that out! But please forgive my fat pregnant face.

I know it's a bit silly to think to reach in your pantry for your Extra Virgin Olive Oil, but I'm telling you - it's the best darn makeup remover I've ever used. I don't even buy makeup remover anymore. I keep a small little travel bottle in my shower and I use it before my face wash. Sometimes you can find the best beauty items just in your kitchen! I shower at night, so that's why I do that. I did a post here on more details on why I love it, so be sure to check it out.

If you're like me and battle perpetual dark circles under your eyes, no matter how much sleep you get, you may want to invest in this little magical under eye concealer. It is actually a "corrector", which basically corrects the color you are trying to be rid of. I would definitely recommend heading to the Bobbi Brown counter to get matched with the correct color, however. If you are using the wrong color, it won't be effective. See my more in-depth review of the product here.

Okay, I really couldn't pick one here because I use both of these palettes every single day. This pick probably doesn't come as a shock because everyone and their cat likes the Urban Decay Naked Palette. But I love both of them! I honestly think either one of these palettes are just the perfect set of neutrals. I feel like the Naked 1 palette is more of a "warmer" palette, while the Naked 2 has more "cooler" colors. If you would like to see my review of the palettes side by side, check it out here. Yep, I pretty much review everything. Haha.

This is probably the best money I've spent on my skincare routine. Let's not mention the fact that it just broke right after my year warranty was up and I have to order another one. I mean, well, maybe we can mention that fact, because I love it so much I will buy it again. Anyway, my skin has never felt better. Using the Clarisonic Mia (I feel I don't need any other model) leaves my skin constantly soft and exfoliated, fine lines are softened, and best of all, it really helps with my hormonal, cystic acne. And you bet your sweet toosh I reviewed the product in depth, including a picture of my face without makeup here.

What about you gals? What's some of the beauty items you keep repurchasing or can't life without?

Happy Friday! Thanks for having me here today!!

I think me and Meg are makeup twins! I need to try that Bobbi Brown concealer though - my dark circles are getting worse!

Why do I use all the same products except for the olive oil! Now that is going to be added! I agree with everything!
