Hello!! Sweet Megan told me I could post on ANY topic I wanted... which really wasn't helpful due to a serious case of pregnancy brain I have going on But considering the fact that I'm due to have our first baby, A GIRL, on the 16th I figured I can't NOT write about Christmas time When my husband and I first figured out that my due date was in December we felt kind of bad for our baby girl... who wants to have her birthday so close to Christmas? But being pregnant during the holiday season has made everything so much more special! It has made me appreciate the meaning of Christmas SO much more. And the anticipation of what's coming our way... it's just made this time of year the most SPECIAL time ever
I thought I'd share a couple of my favorite Christmas traditions with you all. I LOVE Christmas lights! My hubs is a bit of a grinch when it comes to hanging lights on the house... so until we own our own home I'm content with driving around and checking out the pretty lights.

Getting matching pj's on Christmas eve or Christmas day is a pretty common tradition for a lot of families... but Eric and I get "matching" clothes instead They actually don't match at all {like in the picture below} but we try to have a theme. One year we got DC shirts, last year we got button down shirts, and this year we have {almost} matching hoodies! We went with the hoodies since I'll want to be comfy after just having a baby! I'm excited for the challenge of finding a theme of clothes that will work for Eric, me AND our little girl next year

There are plenty of other traditions I hold dear to my heart, but I'm so excited to start some new traditions that will be fun and exciting for our baby girl to look forward to each year!

What are your favorite Christmas traditions?? Oh and P.S. Hopefully I've had my baby by the time you all are reading this post.... but in case I haven't? Pretty please say a little prayer for me that we'll have her BEFORE Christmas day ha ha!

My birthday is 5 days before Christmas, and despite the fact that some blizzards have ruined some parties, I've never really had a problem with it! My parents always made sure it was extra special!
Did I miss a link to your blog in this post? I want to check it out! I hope you've had that precious baby girl already and that husband of yours? Well he's obviously a Red Sox fan so he's already a gem in my book! :)
