Weekend Wrap-up

THURSDAY

Jeremy had to work, so Olivia and I leisurely got ready and watched the thanksgiving parade!

Then met Jeremy at work to have lunch with him. The weather was SO beautiful, we didn't even need to wear jackets!! The food was amazing as ALWAYS and we got a quick family picture!

I HAD to do a couple comparison pictures:
I CAN NOT believe how much Olivia has grown and changed within ONE year! WOW!

After lunch Olivia & I went to meijer to pick up a couple things. I put Olivia down for a nap and I made some banana bread muffins! Once the muffins were done I packed for Olivia and I to head home and then once Jeremy got home we woke Olivia up from her nap and we headed downstate!

For dinner, we went to my dads house to hang out with my side of the family. My dad out did himself as always! (2nds and possibly 3rds were had!) Olivia enjoyed her first thanksgiving meal! She LOVED the turkey, home made cranberry sauce, rolls, green bean casserole and her FAVORITE pumpkin pie!!

That night was rough! Olivia was up WAY past her bed time and was WAY over tired! We couldn't get her to sleep until almost 130am! It was SO SO SO rough!! Olivia isn't a fan of traveling and not sleeping in her own bed (can't imagine where she got that from!) but at least now we know what we are in for when we travel to FL in december!

FRIDAY

Olivia turned 18 months old! We "slept in" and then got DD's for breakfast before doing some black friday shopping!

After shopping, we headed to Jeremy's parents house to celebrate thanksgiving with his parents, siblings and Olivia's cousin. Olivia went down for a nap pretty much upon arrival so we all hung out. Once Olivia was awake she played with Natalie and then we had dinner. It was a fun day! After dessert we packed up and drove home. We were EXHAUSTED!

SATURDAY

Jeremy and I have been fighting a virus. The one where every word you talk, breath you take and sip you drink makes you feel like you are swallowing shards of glass...yeah that one. Well I was feeling just AWFUL so saturday we did ABSOLUTELY nothing! We all slept until 9:30 and Jeremy made a really yummy breakfast! Olivia and I enjoyed a day lounging at home, a 3 hour afternoon nap and seriously doing nothing! It was MUCH needed!

SUNDAY

I decided to go to Urgent Care because I seriously couldn't take being sick anymore! As expected, it was a wasted trip! Since I have a virus it has to run its own course and will take 10-14 days to go away on its own...lovely. I am used to a Zpak miracle but for this nothing...
SO I hit up the panera drive-thru for hot beverages for Jer and I and stocked up on soup I could have made myself but didn't feel like it.

When I got home, Jer had to head to work but had said Olivia kept going up to the windows staring at the snow. We got her bundled up really quick (reason for tags still on jacket) so Jer could be there to see Olivia's first time experiencing snow! (More pictures in a scheduled post tomorrow!)

After Olivia played her little heart out, I put her down for a nap where she slept for almost 2.5 hours! (I got to clean and catch up on shows!) We then had a late lunch and just hung out at home!

After dinner I did bath time with Olivia and then Jeremy surprised us and came home from work early so we hung out before putting Olivia to bed. (He also brought me a chocolate shake for my throat--def a keeper that one!) We cleaned a little bit and did some house stuff. Pretty low-key night!

How was your holiday weekend?

I love the way you dress Miss Olivia. Those leopard flats are too adorable. Isn’t it amazing how much they change in just a year?
Eek – I hope y’all kick that virus to the curb asap!
And I am jealous of the snow!!

Hope you all are feeling better! We had a few flurries here in Ohio, too but nothing that allowed us to go outside and play...can't wait for that, though! My daughter is only a few days older than Olivia (5/19)...Hard to believe how much they've grown and changed in a year, right???
