Jeremy and I made sure we hit the poles today. We are a "split" house but I truly do believe that every vote counts! Olivia is only 17 months, but I want her to grow up knowing and understanding how important it is for her voice to be heard. I don't want her to just vote for who Jer or I vote for, I want her to do the research and vote for what SHE believes in.
I'm not going to lie, I can not wait for the election to be over. I am sick of the hatred going around on facebook, twitter, instagram, etc. I think it is GREAT to be passionate and voice what you believe in, but I think it is WRONG to tear others down when you don't agree with their opinions. There are respectful ways to "debate" but like I said I will be very glad when this is all over! :)
I hope you all went out and voted! I am glad I went as an informed voter, not only about our presidential candidates but also about local government and the proposals as well!

I totally agree! :-) She is such a cutie. And it was so fun to take EC today too!
I'm sick of this too! It's awful! Bashing each other is setting us back!
Is it bad all I could focus on in this post was your winter clothes and those adorable leopard print shoes? We were still sweating today here!! :(
Ps- I just noticed your enabling email message- can I copy this and put it on mine? So good!!
I completely agree with you... my kids are a bit older and we had many discussions this year about the different topics. I always stress the importance of educating yourself and voting for what you believe in. I waited until after work to vote so that they could go with me... I want them to see and feel the importance of that!
I completely agree, it was so sad reading all the hateful and judgmental posts on facebook and twitter! I couldn't stand it but it was like a train wreck and I couldn't really look away....
