It seems like we just broke ground but as of yesterday our house has been almost completely framed!!!!

I can not BELIEVE how quickly this is happening!! Makes me SO SO happy!!! This sunday we are choosing our flooring and a couple days ago we chose our doors and garage doors! LOVE choosing all of the details!!!
Do any of you have any favorite vendors/companies for lighting? We are choosing that next!! EEEEK!

SO exciting! I'm glad it's going fast for you. Most of the time people feel like building a house takes forever. I'm sure it will be beautiful when it's finished, and picking everything out is totally fun!
Oh!! It looks like it's going to be so beautiful! We built a house in 2007 and I remember how hard the wait was but also how fun it was to go and check out the progress! Good luck picking everything you. You are going to have so much fun!
Very exciting!!! Can't wait to see the progress...my biggest dream is to build a home someday, but doesn't happen too much up here in CT! A girl can dream though! :) Can't wait to see all your picks... !!!!

We're in the process of renovating our kitchen/basement (I FINALLY started a blog to document and I just did a post on our lighting selection if you want to check it out) and the places I love getting lights are Shades of Light, RH baby (when have their sales), Pottery Barn and we have a local lighting store that has a good selection.
