From the title I am sure you can all guess that this morning has been an awful one...
Currently my bathroom looks like the scene from a crime investigation. While getting ready for work this morning my wedding band fell down the drain! You know that stomach drop, pit in your stomach, sick feeling? That is me today...
Of course I had to wake my husband up to tell him and we tried, so far unsuccessfully to retrieve it.
I know what you are all thinking, well won't your home owners insurance cover the cost to replace the band? Yes, it would if I would have taken my set to the Jewlery store to get appraised and covered under my homeowners insurance...yes I know feel SO stupid for not doing that!!
I feel SO awful!! It isn't about the cost or replacing the band...it is the fact that my wedding band was placed on my finger when we said "I do!"
So, here I sit at work, twiddling my thumbs hoping to get good news from my hubby that he found my band. Please keep your fingers crossed for me!!

I remember I lost a diamond earring down the drain and I freaked I couldn't imAgine my wedding band!

Ugh, I would be sick! Definitely call a plumber...I"m sure they get those calls more than you think. Good luck!

SO sorry girl. I would be freaking out to. I try to take my rings off when I'm doing dishes and things but it always makes me nervous so I just end up getting them cleaned every month or so to keep the gunk off them.

I lost my wedding ring for almost a year! I knew it was in our house but could not find it! We finally did the insurance thing (which took forever and they were not friendly about it!) and about 2 months later, my MIL found my ring in our carpet.

OMG I TOTALLY know that feeling...i took my engagement ring off to apply suntan lotion at the beach and it dropped INTO the sand...needlessly to say I had that pit in your stomach, feel like you're going to throw up feeling the whole time...longest minutes of my life...and my husband was NOT happy with me eihter so that didn't help matters! My fingers are crossed you find it and your day only gets better!
OH NO! I hope you find it! Maybe call a plumber to come out and help? They are probably really good at trying to find things in the drains. Anything is worth a shot! I'm always so nervous I'm going to lost my rings - I have dreams that I lose them and then wake up and have to get out of bed to make sure they are still there. GOOD LUCK! :)
