Saw it. Pinned it. Did it.

I pinned 2 images : 1 & 2 as my inspiration for this at home mani!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Bonder

Base

Glitter polish

Clear (or a brush you don't mind mixing polish with)

Clear top coat

Start with filed, clean nail. Put on bonder and 2 coats of your base color. I chose Essie Hi Maintenance.

I wanted a more silver glitter polish, but couldn't find anything at the store so went with diamond by Sally Hanson. I did 3 coats. The 1st coat I did as a "french manicure."

The 2nd coat I did a little wider

(Don't mind my tax return hands! haha ...Paper cut city over here!!)

3rd coat I did as wide as 2nd coat. I wanted them to kind of look "ombre."

The clear top coat I used to drag the glitter down a little.

Then I used my original clear coat as a top coat!

I like this look a lot! I didn't want anything too "crazy" since where I work more conservative nails are preferred.

I am OBSESSED with Liv's baby Blazers! Both of hers are from Baby Gap and I wish last fall I would have bought more than 2! They are GREAT staples and for layering and obviously are ADORABLE!!

Weekend Wrap-up

FRIDAY

Friday we got TONS of snow! This pic was in the morning!

Since it snowed so much, Liv and I decided to stay home that night. Liv took it upon herself to have our snack before dinner, sitting on the kitchen floor so I joined her! haha

We had dinner in the dining room and played in the living room until Jer came home!

Jer came home and we hung out, Liv went to bed, we watched shows and then went to bed.

SATURDAY

Olivia turned 21 months old!

We had breakfast, and then got ready for the day. We went and checked out our house and then went to visit Jer at work!

Olivia LOVES visiting her daddy at work and was SUCH a good girl!!

We then came home, had lunch and took a 3 hour nap! It was AWESOME!! I did some cleaning while Olivia played and then got dinner ready for her. Jer then let me know he would be home that night (which NEVER EVER EVER happens!!) so we decided to do a family date night for some mexican food! Liv hadn't eaten that much at home but BOY did she enjoy dinner with us! She was SUCH a good girl and the 3 of us had SO much fun!

SUNDAY

The 3 of us woke up and got ready. Jer made us yummy chocolate chip pancakes and then we hung out  before Jer had to go to work. 

Liv and I ran errands and then came home for lunch. I tried to put Liv down for a nap but was unsuccessful...

So Liv stayed up and we played. We then went to visit a model home owned by the company building our house to confirm our flooring choices! Jer went back to work and I attempted to go grocery shopping but once I pulled into the parking lot someone decided to fall asleep in the car! So we came home. I got Olivia inside with out waking her and started dinner. While she slept I caught up on the bachelor instead of doing laundry and cleaning like I should have, oh well!

When Liv woke up she was SO SO cranky!! It took an hour for me to get her to relax, drink her milk and eat dinner. I think she had just napped too late and was WAY over tired!! 

The rest of the night was spent playing and being silly with my girl while watching the Academy Awards! :)

21 Months

Olivia turned 21 months today! (2/23/13)

Olivia weighs 23lbs 1oz, is 33.5", size 6 shoe, 18-24m and some 24m clothes, 10 teeth on top and 8 on the bottom!

Olivia usually is a GREAT eater but lately eating like she has never been fed or 2 bites of something and is done. there is NO in between! Rice, broccoli, grapes, and pasta are favorites! Also loves hummus and wheat thins! Still won't drink milk, I've even tried mixing with soy milk but Olivia knows the difference!! Still loves an egg in the morning but Jer sometimes treats her to french toast or homemade waffles which she LOVES!!!Also, a BIG snacker! Loves goldfish mixed with pretzel goldfish, cheerios, nilla wafers, fruit, strawberry wafers, and gerber puffs. I thought we were past the throwing food on the floor phase, but you are back at it again. You also love to dump your drinks into other cups or dishes, not sure why. Also like to dump your snacks until your dish is empty to put your snacks back into the dish. You will do this until we take it away. Again, not sure why! haha

Olivia had SUCH a routine!! Usually wakes up around 7am, has a cup of milk for breakfast followed by an egg and Cheerios/banana. After breakfast we put Disney Junior on tv while we play in the living room. We usually do a bath mid morning and then get ready for the day! After this you usually have a snack and do more playing. 12 on the dot you are usually ready for lunch (unless it was an extremely early morning!) Loves sandwiches or chicken, cucumbers, goldfish, (any finger foods!) then usually naps 2-3 hours. When you wake up  you HAVE to have a cup of milk and snack while cuddling. Once awake does more playing until dinner. Likes to eat between 5-530. Last night had chicken, cheese, mashed potatoes and broc/cauliflower/carrots and ate EVERYTHING on plate!! Then we usually play. Very silly time so we do lots of dancing and hiding! Usually start "relaxing" around 7. Do bath and pjs, milk and a snack (if she wants one) and watch a show. Bed time is usually around 8. Sometimes a little earlier, sometimes a little later! (Routine is a little different on daycare days which are tuesdays and thursdays and SOMETIMES fridays!)

You have been doing GREAT at daycare, you have learned SO much and see, EVEN bigger now! At first I was SO worried about sending you but honestly, you LOVE it! Olivia LOVES her teachers and is SO cute with the other kids! She even got a valentine on valentines day! haha Jeremy and I even sometimes "fight" about who gets to pick her up because it is honestly the BEST!! When we open the door you sometimes don't notice it is us right away, but when you do you grin ear-to-ear and run with everything you have into our arms!! We LOVE it!!

Your daddy is your FAVORITE person! It is adorable how in love you are with your main man!! On mornings it is just you and I you search the whole house and have to go in EVERY room looking for him and yelling his name. I tell you he is at work and every time you look SO confused! Your little heart is SO full of love for that man!! Today when we visited him at work you LOVED it!! You knew where we were and that we were there to see him! I love how you yell his name and point at him, it is like you are trying to reach across the room with that little pointer finger! haha

Speaking of pointing, you LOVE to point!! You point at EVERYTHING!! haha Also, you are TRYING to talk up a storm. Sometimes I feel like I know what you are trying to say you just don't know how yet. You are saying SO many phrases! "I don't know", "oh no", "here I am", "where it it?", etc. Still LOVE playing peek-a-boo. "Moo Moo" is your term of endearment haha Everything/everyone you love you call "moo moo!" You also said "love ya" the first time this month! Daddy was taking you upstairs for your nap and you said to me "night, night! Love ya!" It was THE cutest!!!

You had the flu this month, I assume you brought it home from daycare. Seeing you this sick broke my heart in SO many pieces, it was the WORST!!

Olivia has been GREAT at helping us dress and undress her. Even TRIES to help put on her shoes, but obviously needs help! haha

LOVES Bath time! Took her first bubble bath this month and LOVED it! Started introducing more fun bath toys and when she seems them in the bathroom, DEMANDS bath time! sometimes even cries when bath time is over because she wants to stay in! haha As for brushing teeth she is NOT a fan! Even went and picked out new toothpaste (out of all of the options she picked "Jake and the neverland pirates!) and still is not a fan.

GREAT at giving kisses and hugs! SO LOVING!! LOVES dancing and singing! ANY type of music she will dance to, even a commercial on tv! haha Has been more whiny/clingy this month! When I come home at lunch or for the day she has to be held by me (which I LOVE) so I have mastered dishes and cooking with one hand again! Also, has been throwing MANY tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants, it has been....an experience. We do timeout or ignore her tantrums and then she turns back into her normal self.

Also, still LOVE your babydoll (yay, we found it!) and your stuffed animals. You love them all but your favorites are your elmo, minnie mouse and buster! Also, still loves sitting inside her ottoman, you know how to take the top off and will pull everything from inside out. Also you cane reach the drawer in your changing table and you like to now empty that out as well.





As always, every month you surprise us with what you know and have learned, give us more laugh lines from causing us SO much laughter and you ALWAYS melt our hearts!! We love you more and more every second!! xoxo

It seems like we just broke ground but as of yesterday our house has been almost completely framed!!!!

I can not BELIEVE how quickly this is happening!! Makes me SO SO happy!!! This sunday we are choosing our flooring and a couple days ago we chose our doors and garage doors! LOVE choosing all of the details!!!

Do any of you have any favorite vendors/companies for lighting? We are choosing that next!! EEEEK!
