Weekend Wrap-up {Birthday Weekend}

FIRST of all Thank you ALL so much for all of the birthday love!! 

For all of you to take the time really meant a lot to me! :)

On Friday, my actually birthday, I worked until 6. It was a VERY busy day at work! 

The morning started off with texts, first one of course was from my mom! :)

Then one of my best friends made this SUPER cute collage of us! LOVE her!!

Then I got a surprise delivery from my super sweet hubby!

For my birthday outfit, I kept it simple! A coral peplum top from F21, Black skinny cords from ON, My favorite Captoed flats from Payless and I wore a BCBG blazer(not pictured)

As I mentioned in a previous post my hubby kept the details of my birthday a secret. He told me to pack an over night bag so on my lunch break I threw some stuff together REALLY quick for Olivia and I. I didn't know I was supposed to pack our bags separate!

When I got home Jeremy said I had a couple minutes so I refreshed, double checked my bag and realized Olivia's stuff was packed separate. So I knew something was up...

We hopped in the car and started driving and Jeremy took a weird way "back home" (downstate) but in the end we weren't going that way. 

Jeremy had actually planned a romantic night away for just the two of us! 

I was SO surprised!! :)

We dropped off Olivia with our friends, who are actually pregnant themselves!! Then we headed downtown to our hotel for the night! The room was BEYOND gorgeous and the view was AMAZING! We got ready really quick, took a couple "selfies" haha and headed out!

We went to the Chop house downtown for a late dinner and it was SO romantic and the food was BEYOND amazing!!! I seriously loved EVERYTHING about it! If any of you are ever looking for a restaurant for a special occasion in downtown Grand Rapids I HIGHLY recommend it!!

After dinner we headed out and grabbed a few drinks! The night was JUST perfect!! 

SATURDAY

Of COURSE on Saturday we woke up at 7am on the dot! Olivia has us TRAINED! haha We both couldn't wait to get back to our girl and of COURSE she slept in until almost NINE!!!! haha

We got ready, packed up our stuff and realized we had gotten LOCKED into the parking garage. We had turned in our room key not knowing we needed it to get out! haha TYPICAL! Then on the way to breakfast to meet our friends to pick up Olivia our GPS got us all turned around and we ended up a little late...oh my gosh! NOT the best start to our morning! haha

Once we FINALLY arrived, we met our friends and Olivia who joined us for breakfast, cuddled our girl who we REALLY missed, and met some family for breakfast as well! It was nice to catch up with everyone!

After breakfast we went back to my sister in laws house so Olivia could play with her cousin. When we got there, Olivia's G-D parents had surprised the girls with AMAZING easter baskets! They are SO generous! I wish I would have taken pictures, my sister in law made them SO cute!! She even got me a little something for my birthday! SO SO Sweet!! After, we went to Lowes to look at some things for the house (since we don't have a Lowes) and then headed home!

The day was GORGEOUS so we decided to hang out outside and enjoy the weather! Olivia LOVED it!!!

THEN Jeremy handed Olivia a bag to give to me!

Jeremy got me a Cannon Rebel as a gift!! SUCH a surprise!! I wasn't expecting ANYTHING after such a fun night together the night before!! Such a wonderful man I am married to! #keeper

Jeremy had to go to work that night so Olivia and I hung out together. We got Qdoba for dinner, went to Target and went to the new house to take some "updated" pics! :)

We did an extra long bath time since Olivia was just having so much fun! Olivia is VERY into bath time now! :)

We both called it an early night since we were both so tired!

SUNDAY

Sunday was Easter. Jeremy had to work in the morning/early afternoon. The weather was SO beautiful so I took advantage of it! I had a little photoshoot with my new camera and my beautiful model!

Olivia had an early lunch and took an early nap! While she napped I got ready, then I woke her up (I HATE doing that) and we headed to brunch with Jer and our friends! The food was AMAZING and Olivia had SO much fun with my friends little girls! After we bowled for a little while (Olivia is OBSESSED!) After, we showed our friends the new house since they have only seen pictures of it.

Once we came home, Jeremy was home and I went into work for a couple hours. After, we went to buffalo wild wings for dinner and drinks and I indulged in a yummy marg! Mmm!

Overall, the weekend was AMAZING!! =)
