Yesterday, Olivia had her first "school" field trip! Her daycare coordinated some time at the local childrens museum to open up just for Olivias class to come and play! Olivia had a BLAST! LUCKILY, Jeremy and I were both able to come as well! I rode the bus to the museum with Olivia and Jeremy met us there with my car and then Jeremy rode the bus back with Olivia to daycare where I left his car. It all worked out perfectly!
You can't tell, but on the front of Olivia's shirt is a drawing she drew at school and they ironed it onto the front of her shirt! The back had her school, class and telephone number! We were the only people there but I liked the concept!
Olivia's favorite things to do at the museum were: playing at the water table, in the music room, pretending to grocery shop and garden, climbing everything and everything, playing with the bouncy balls, throwing things that didn't belong in the water table and playing on the John Deere trucks! haha
I think a membership is in our future since it is SO close and Olivia had so much fun! She had SO much fun that her nap lasted 2.5 hours! haha (I wish I could have enjoyed a nap!)
Going back to work after was a BIG bummer!! I felt really thankful that during this EXTREMELY busy time at work (Hurry up April 15th!) I was able to sneak out for a couple hours to enjoy time with Olivia and Jeremy! :)
