Today is FINALLY, after months of feeling like riding a roller coaster, CLOSING DAY!!
I can't believe On New Years Day we signed the dotted line(s) to start this "adventure" and today we will be signing again but this time to begin a new life! (Original post)
I had hoped to share more of this journey with you all on the blog while we went through the process, and if you follow me on IG (meganlawless) you may have seen sneak peaks here and there! Truthfully, this process wasn't very fun. (That is a post scheduled for next week). Building this house was hard work. There were a LOT of hard decisions, sleepless nights and days where I threw up from stress (tmi?) In the end though, I am happy with all of the decisions I made (this was def MY project!) and all the stress and tears were worth it! My friend, who also recently built, and I came up with a list of advice for any of you who plan to build in the future! (another post for next week!)
...But today is a new day! Today is the day we get the keys to our dream home! While I feel like we are "cheating" on our old house and am sad to leave, I am SO excited for this new home that Jeremy and I worked SO hard for! I am so grateful for this time in our life and can not WAIT to make new memories!!

We are building right now, supposed to close in August. So far everything has been smooth sailing which is making me a bit nervous in itself!
