22 Months

Olivia turned 22 months on March 23rd!

Olivia is wearing 18-24m clothes, some 24m clothes (mostly bottoms), and is long and lean! Size 5.5-6 shoes, size 4 diapers and has almost all her teeth! If I had to guess, Olivia is probably right around 24 lbs!

Taking up a STORM!! We seriously love hearing you talk and learn new words!! You LOVE saying "no" and shaking your head! Your timing is impeccable, we have conversations with you now and most of the time they end in giggles, you are just SO funny!! This past weekend we were driving past a farm and I pointed the horses out to you. I asked you what sound a horse makes and you said "moo," I corrected you and said "No baby, a horse says ney" and then as serious and stubborn as can be you said " NO! MOO!" Haha

You are SO silly and funny!! We LOVE playing with you! You love all of your balls, they are def one of your favorite toys! (soft, bouncy, light up, etc) you can see them from across the room! When we went to Target daddy had to chase after you because you found a huge display from across the store. When you reached the display we just laughed that you had spotted that from SO far away! You also LOVE your blocks, especially the mega blocks! You can stack them all by yourself and have built some pretty impressive towers!! You also LOVE to dance and sing! You are SUCH a cute dancer, we can't wait to enroll you in dance classes!! You also are a GREAT helper! You help us put away your toys and are so helpful! ANother thing to note: You LOVE your baby doll! It has to come everywhere with us! You LOVE to give it hugs and kisses.

You have had good and bad days with eating. Some days you eat like a teenage boy and some days like a bird! We've been told this is normal but I always get nervous that you may be starving! You started drinking out of a straw really well! I was actually surprised the first time you did it! When daddy saw he was SO excited!! Good to know in case we ever forget your sippy cup!! :) fruit has been your FAVORITE this month! Bananas, strawberries, grapes, oranges, etc! You also love chips! Your favorites are cheddar pop chips. Snacks: cucumbers, hummus, wheat thins, raisins, goldfish, and pretzels. Still love chicken and turkey meatballs too!

When it is time to eat or get a drink we ask you to get your cup/bowl/plate and you know where it is and bring it to us. If you are hungry you will go to the fridge or snack cupboard and ask for something. We LOVE it!!

You love going outside!! I can't wait for it to warm up outside! Daddy and I have SO many fun activities with you we look forward to! Walks, playing with your wagon and tricycle, going to the park, trying out sidewalk chalk, etc!

You love being a "big girl!" You love helping us get you ready/dressed! You try to brush your hair, try to put on your shoes and try to put in your hair clips even though you will immediately pull them out! Haha you will bring us your shoes when we ask and have started picking out your clothes! You still don't love brushing your teeth but you LOVE bath time!! You get mad when we try to get you out of the tub! Haha

Daycare is going really really well! You hardly notice when we drop you off but you ALWAYS notice us when we pick you up! You have become much more independent and are no longer shy! You play with others so well and have learned SO much!! You are slowly transitioning to the next age group class too! You color and paint and have made us super cute projects! You love stickers! You are also being introduced to the potty!! (VERY exciting!!)

This month has been SO fun!!!! I can't believe in 2 months you will be 2!! This year has passed by EVEN quicker than last!!
