We had Ava's 2 month appointment on Monday May 19th and Ava weighed 11lbs 12oz and 24" inches long! We also had to do the dreaded 2 month shots. Ava took them like a champ. I nursed her immediately after and she fell asleep! After the appointment we ran errands and she slept the whole time. She ended up taking about a 3 hour nap. When she woke up to eat she seemed fine and then later that night she started to get warm and fussy so I gave her the tylenol dosage suggested by the doctor and she was fine after. SO glad that is all over with! Daddy gets to do 4 month shots ;)
Still wearing 3 month cloths and size 1 diapers. Wore shoes for the first time, the same ones Liv wore! They are still a little big but were SO adorable!! Eyes are DEF brown now. The dominant Lawless brown eye! haha Hair is still very dark and getting long in the back, we want to trim it SO bad! haha
Eating and sleeping are still going well, still cluster feeding a lot from 7-9 or 9-11. Usually sleeps 11-3 and sometimes (one time) 11-5! Would LOVE LOVE for that to happen again!! :) Sometimes will take a pacifier, seems to like it best in swing or when we are in car. VERY good sleeper in car but will wake up when car stops which is unfortunate! Still loves swing!
LOVES Liv. Coos and smiles when she sees her! Liv is doing SO much better too! VERY intered in Ava now. VERY concerned when Ava cries/is upset. HAs many times tried picking Ava up out of swing, we have explained to her that for mommy and daddy to do. Does much better with holding her as well. :)
Ava is recognizing us as well. LOVES staring at us and when we talk to her. She will smile and coo and its almost like she is trying to talk/tell us something! Staying awake for longer periods of time during day. Loves sitting up (with assistance of course) and not a huge fan of tummy time. Has recently started drooling a lot more too. REALLY hoping this isn't a sign of early teething! :(
Can't believe how big she is getting!!
