Trendy Tot Tuesday {Big Sister}

When it came time to make the "big announcement" to our parents and siblings Jeremy & I tossed around a TON of ideas but none were "us." We decided to keep it simple. Our families can sometimes miss the "obvious" so we thought it would be fun (and possibly funny) to put Liv in a "Big Sister" shirt and see how long it took people to notice. I set out on a mission for a "Big Sister" shirt for Liv but everywhere I went they were...how do I put it...NOT CUTE! 

So I took my happy (and then non waddling butt) to Joann's, bought some sparkly iron on letters and decided to make my own! :) We had some t-shirts I had bought on clearance the season prior so I just used what I had, my new iron on letters, trusty iron and clearance toddler tshirt! :)

The night we told my parents, we were at dinner for 45 mins before I finally couldn't take it anymore.  Jeremy and I did SO many things to "point out" Livs shirt so finally I just said "did either of you notice what Liv's shirt says?!" Jeremy and I just laughed as the look of SHOCK and excitement took over their faces! For Jers parents, Jers dad didn't even notice the shirt, his mom noticed RIGHT away as did my brother and one of Jeremys brothers. The rest of the siblings all had their "times" of noticing. I DEF recommend this way of announcing! I wish I had gotten it on video, since each time was SO different and funny! Jeremy & I will always remember though, JUST like when we told our families about Olivia! SO special! :)
