So I was contacted by The March of Dimes in response to the issues I had at our March for Babies walk...
It turns out I was one of MANY people who had problems. The RUDE man I spoke of, is one of the MANAGERS for the event liason I had been in contact with. When she found out what he had said to me and how I was treated she was HORRIFIED!! Also, the volunteers were wrong when directing us on different things. There was food, TONS of it actually, but they had labeled the tent for volunteers and it was supposed to be for EVERYONE. As for the signs for the walk, those were not sent out to everyone, only corporate sponsors, and she will be bringing up for next year that all walkers, volunteers, etc should have the opportunity to have a sign made. They are a $100 donation, but I would def be willing to put forth the money for that! Also, everyone on my team had earned a t-shirt, not just me. Also, because of the amount we raised we earned Macy's giftcards, which I didn't know. SO all in all the liason is sending everyone on my team a t-shirt, our earned giftcards, and materials about future events.
I have NO hard feelings. Even if I would not have been contacted I will ALWAYS support this amazing organization. They are one of the reasons my daughter is alive and thriving. I am excited to volunteer at more events and make sure other MOD events are successful, fun and that everyone has the opposite experience I did.

Our local MOD's has a Family Poster Party where they provide the poster board, markers, decorations...etc. All you bring are the pictures! I think you might have seen the poster we made for Tyler? That was at the Poster Party. They have kid games, and prizes for parents and kids. I would suggest it to your local MOD's! It's a blast! The MOD's post them along the walk for everyone to see, ours was posted near the finish :) Sounds like that guy was a real jerk, I'm so sorry you had such a bad experience with him :(
