EXTREMELY disgusted!!! Saw a mother AND mother of this mother (grandma) bring an infant into the tanner (the actual tanning room!) I asked the employees for the woman's info so I report her and her mother to child services. They said they couldn't LEGALLY give it to me... I then asked how about what is MORALLY right?? That poor child! Babies are a special gift, some people do NOT deserve to reproduce! I plan on calling the owner tomorrow, this woman needs to be reported!!! What your tan is more important then your CHILD?!? SO DISGUSTING!!!!!!
The employees (at the tanner) said they felt uncomfortable with the situation but didn't know if they would be "allowed" (by the owner) to turn them away. I know the owner, I'm hoping he will give me the woman's info. I know around what time it was and there was no one else there. If not I plan on reporting it myself and CPS can investigate
What I don't understand is if you MUST tan, there were 2 adults. why couldn't they go one at a time while the other sat in the waiting area with the baby? Def don't think the baby should have even been brought or allowed in but at least that is a LITTLE more safe for that little baby. I feel so bad for the baby. A parent is supposed to be its child's advocate and keep it safe! VERY upsetting for me to witness! I wish I could have said something to the mom but they were already getting into the car! I should have waited around to get a plate number!
What would you all do in a situation like this?! I plan on calling the owner of the salon AND I plan on calling CPS. I already got the local number off line so I can call in the a.m. I wouldn't even tan while B.F./pumping let alone THINK about bringing my precious baby near a tanning salon! SO horrible!
