18 Weeks

How Far Along? 18 weeks!

Size? sweet potato

Maternity Clothes? In these pics, I am not! I started wearing the belly band I used last pregnancy for Jeans since I can't find maternity jeans I like. I've been wearing a lot of shift dresses with leggings/boots and open sweaters with longer tshirts!

Weight Gain? At my appointment this week I actually lost a lb and that was after scarfing down a jimmy johns sub (veggie of course!) so that was a shocker! Could have been the scale since it was a different dr's office, so 4-5lbs. 

Gender? I looked away during our anatomy scan but part of me says boy and part of me says girl! Good thing I have a 50/50 chance of being right! ;)

Old Wives Tale: Mayan Tale: The Mayan tale adds the mother’s age at conception and the year of conception. If the result is an even number then you’re having a girl. If the result is an odd number then a boy is on the way! (27+2013=2040)

How big sis is doing? Olivia is still a mama's girl, she always seems like she wants me and gets upset when I leave for work, which I HATE! :( I brought home ultrasound pics from my appointment and she was excited to see "her baby!" :)

Sleep? HOLY HEARTBURN!!! This week my heartburn has been out of control especially at night! Makes falling asleep hard! Also, Liv has been having more nightmares/night terrors so we have had quite a few nights up with her. Also, we are all battling bad colds so being stuffed up with a sore throat hasn't been fun...

Food Cravings? Still loving ice cold water, bacon and guac! Soup, made the BEST chicken noodle soup this week which I plan to make again this weekend! Also, veggie jimmy johns! 

Anything making you queasy or sick: nothing this week!

What I Miss? I really wanted a glass of ice cold moscato this week after a horrible day at work! Also, REALLLLLY missing smoked salmon!!

Symptoms? Just the bad heartburn! Otherwise meds have been awesome for headaches and nausea!

Mood? Happy! (and tired)

Best Moment of the Week? The anatomy scan was AMAZING!!! I feel so reassured having these high risk appointments! I got to see pretty much every inch of Baby L and it was SO SO amazing! He/she was SO cooperative too! I love seeing functioning organs and the heart! The baby also kept covering his/her face which was so cute! Already loves playing peek-a-boo like big sister! ;)

Looking forward to: Enjoying the weekend with Liv. We have no plans and I am excited about that!! Looking very forward to lots of QT!! :)
