Weekend Wrap-Up

FRIDAY

On My lunch break I stopped at the Kohls by work and got Olivia a BUNCH of clearance Carters outfits. She is in 6 months now so I got her some 12 and 18 months cardigans, a cute little dress and I had to exchange a 6 month outfit for a 12 month since she never got a chance to wear it.

started off the night with a cuddle/nap with this cute girl!

Then I gave her a bottle where she spit up all over herself so I changed her and she was QUITE pleased with mommy's choice! :)


Then we went out to dinner with daddy and rented "Money Ball" which we didn't get to watch because Olivia was being a Chatterbox so we played and then went to bed instead :)

SATURDAY

We had a girls day with the Backus Girl's! We went to lunch and the outlet mall! We scored some AWESOME deals for the girls!! We hit up Carters and Old Navy and got them things for next year...onesies and pants for $1.99 each...ok! LOVE IT!! :)

Then we stopped at the grocery store once we got back into town and I got this sequence of pics...

SUNDAY

We had a lazy day. We only got up when it was time for a bottle through out the morning and then would just crawl back into bed and we did that until 1pm, SO NICE!! :)


Once Jer got home from work we ran some errands. We got Olivia the CUTEST jeans from Kohls for like $3.00!! (For next year!) and then came home and fed baby girl. She ended up having a little meltdown (aka WAY over tired!) so Jer took her in the glider and I went down stairs to do Laundry...

Then Olivia woke up and was her sassy, cute self :)

Jer made us a VERY yummy steak dinner and we watched sunday night shows.

8 Months (1/23/2012)

Well someone, me, forgot until baby girl was already asleep to take her 8 month pictures! I waited to do this post because we had Olivia's doctor appointment after her birthday and I wanted to post her weight and height too! Olivia is 15.02 lbs and 26.5"!! YAY!! Also, ALMOST in 9 month clothes!

I'll drink to that!

Did you guys watch the finale of RHOBH? I have been looking forward to this finale all season!
...SEE the thing is, I have a sick obsession...WEDDINGS! Love, LOVE them!!

I thought the flowers and decor were Ah-MAZING!! ...Makes me reminence about my wedding day :)

I love cuddling up on the couch watching wedding shows with Olivia, on friday nights we always watch "Say Yes to the Dress" and "Four Weddings" on TLC but this show really got to me. Lisa (the brides mother) talked about how she wished she could turn back the clock 25 years. Here I am cuddling up with my 8 month old baby thinking about the day I have to give her away when she gets married. (I know, I know...)

...which then started this crazy texting convo between Jer and I

Me: "I'm all sappy and emo. Just watched RH and there was a wedding and...do I even need to explain? I never want Olivia to grow up and leave us :("

Jer: " awe we will keep her forever"

"we are talking home school, no tv, no internet"

Me: "deal"

"lol idk about tv"

haha ...at least we know what we are in for

I love enjoying every second with my baby girl, even if it means crying about her future wedding day which is AT LEAST 20 years away AND we prob need to worry about potty training first! haha

My Dinner...YUMMY!
(Camarones Rellenos- Breaded jumbo shrimp stuffed with cheese and topped with a lobster cream sauce and poblano pepper strips. Served with seasonal vegetables and chef's potatoes.)

Olivia's last time in this outfit! (6 months) I can't believe she is already wearing 6-9 month clothes!!

Last day of Olivia as a 7 month old! this is right before heading out to the grocery store! LOVE that smile!!

Sunday night was spent staying in to watch the football games, (whooo, both my teams won!) eating shrimp cocktail, veggies and dip and chicken wings! Mmmmm!
