Olivia Adele Lawless was born Monday May 23, 2011 at 5:51pm via emergency C-section. Olivia tipped the scale at 1lb 7oz and 14 inches. We were 26 weeks and 3 days.

As of last night little Olivia has made some MAJOR milestones!
She can breathe on her own
She now weighs 1lb 12.02 oz
She has been peeing AND pooping (all mom's know how exciting this is!!)
She isn't on any blood pressure meds
She is able to suck (I got to give her a teeny pacifier)
She has been able to have my milk for her feedings
She was tested for a heart murmur and fluid in her brain and she has NEITHER!! =)
Olivia is our little miracle, she is a fighter and has been amazing us EVERYDAY!! Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers!!!

I'm a preemie mom too! In fact our kiddos are just a few days apart. My son was born on May 19th. He was 33 weeks. We weren't in the NICU nearly as long (30 days), but it's comforting to find other people that share a similar experience. Olivia is adorable! Glad to be your newest follower!
