13 Months

Olivia turned 13 months on June 23rd. (Yesterday)

Current Milestones


Olivia started off this month in size 3 shoes but is now in size 4 shoes, size 4 diapers and 12 month clothes. She is on the 1 year growth chart now! (YAY!) 15th percentile for head and weight & 50th percentile for height ...she obviously got back from me! ;)

Olivia is pulling herself up! We lowered the mattress and I am currently not sleeping because I think about Olivia flipping over the crib ALL of the time! Thinking of buying a blow up mattress to keep next to the crib JUST in case. (Yes, I am that worried about my child who has NO fear!)

Using a toothbrush. We try to brush Olivia's teeth every night, and she LOVES it!! 

Really good with eating finger foods. This month started eating MANY more foods. LOVES chicken, fruits, veggies, bread, eggs and LOVES drinking cold water. Prefers helps with an adult cup then by herself with a sippy cup. Had a reaction to pineapple, which is funny since when I was pregnant, I COULDN'T get enough! Also she LOVES the Ella's kitchen pouches! I keep them in her diaper bag when we travel or run errands.

Jeremy thought Olivia would be skipping crawling but she started showing interest this weekend. She can pull herself to her hands and knees and will sometimes rock back and forth. She is a VERY good scooter and usually scoots backwards or if she wants to get somewhere she will roll. If something is out of her reach when she is laying down she will roll onto her tummy and push off other objects or just keep reaching until she gets it. She LOVES to stand and "walk" (us helping her). 

Olivia used baby pool for first time this month. Got one for her birthday from her grandparents. She also went in her grandparents pool on her 13 month birthday. She didn't love the big pool at first but once she was in it for a couple minutes she couldn't get enough with splashing and she LOVED relaxing in her float!

LOVES splashing in the pool and bathtub. LOVES baths. 

Olivia LOVES to kick. When she is awake she thinks it is funny to kick and at night she kicks to fall asleep. Also, rolls around a LOT while sleeping. 

Olivia is babbling like CRAZY! Still LOVES to say hi/ Associating "mama" with me and "dad" with Jer. Loves to wave. 

Doesn't want to miss ANYTHING! If we are laughing, she laughs, if you smile at her, she smiles, if we are eating something, she wants it. If we are on the phone she wants to talk...until you hand her the phone! 

We are teething in this house again. She is chewing on EVERYTHING! She is LOVING frozen teethers and ANYTHING cold. Also loving her formula really cold.

Makes a "fishy face" it is hilarious.

Olivia is really good when we go out to restaurants and shopping.

Olivia celebrated first fathers day. She got her daddy a new necklace since she accidently broke his and a gift bag full of little things. 

Olivia went to her first wedding on her 13 month birthday. She had a BLAST! She was SO good and it was so fun to let her eat what we ate!

Diaper changes and clothes changes are THE worst! I am pretty sure our neighbors think we are committing murder numerous times a day at our house. AND now Olivia has interest in touching certain parts of her body when her diaper is off which is REALLY fun during dirty diaper changes!


All in all life is ALWAYS interesting and entertaining with Olivia in our world. We are so excited to watch Olivia learn and grow even more over this next year!! =)
