I am sure you have seen ALL of the sponsored blog posts for the #Nsale (Nordstrom sale) but I actually found them QUITE helpful when it came time for me to make my purchases. This sale can be QUITE overwhelming, especially in store!
I am a full-time working wife and mom. Every facet of my life has a "different" style. Dressy/business/business casual and sporty for work (obviously not all at the same time!), sporty and comfortable when I am with my kids and then of course I like to dress up for my husband!
I try to make a list before any type of shopping trip, this girl is #queenofthelists ;) Whether it is for a vacation, back to school, an event or in this case a store sale, a list helps if/when you need to stay on budget, not get overwhelmed, stay on track and in my case, not forget something because I ALWAYS have a million things on my mind!

I love crew length socks for with my tall boots! These are so cute! Hanky Panky is GREAT underwear, so pretty and comfy! I am excited to try the two other panty's. I LOVE details on tops. I think my favorites will be the two sleeveless tops. I love the peplum and the scallop details! They will be so cute under my jackets! The bellsleeve top and cold shoulder tops I can not wait to try on and see how they fit! I always have to wear a bra, and I like that I can wear a normal bra with those.

You will notice I bought 3 burgundy styles, I am always drawn to maroon/burgundy because I work at a University where that is one of our colors so when I find things at a great price I HAVE to scoop them up! ;) I just LOVE the details on these jackets and in my life I can NEVER have too many blazers! Last year during the sale I bought this Halogen jacket and I wear it ALL. THE. Time. For blazers and jackets I usually stick to petite sizing so I am HOPING that the sleeves on the Ruffle Swing Jacket will not be TOO long!

I got QUITE a few pairs of shoes last year. One regret, was not getting a great pair of black flats and tan/nude booties. I am lucky that I can wear kids sizes (Womens size 7 is a 5 in big kids!) so that helps save $$ too! Just a note: I always double check material for boots when purchasing kids shoes because leather and suede sometimes can look less expensive which can be why the pricing is so dramatically cheaper!

I have the cropped and full length Zella pants, I bought them during last years sale and they are WORTH the hype! They have not faded, or pilled, are thick, stay up and help with my "mommy" tummy. I bought the moto style this year to add to my collection! The wacoal sports bra I have in multiple colors and it is so comfortable and these are a great price! I am quite busty so I need a "heavy duty" sports bra. I got these Nike's last year during the sale and they go with EVERYTHING and are SO comfortable! If I needed new tennis shoes, I would be adding the linked below! As you can see, I do not wear "bold" workout wear, I stick to black and grey but the tank is so cute in the back and I can still wear my sports bra so that is a bonus!

I did also get these seamed black leggings. I have had my eye on them but was hoping they would go on sale and they DID!! :) As you notice, I didn't purchase pants, shorts, sweaters or dresses. I did stock up last year so I didn't need any this time. One thing I have noticed from purchasing from this sale the past few years is these items LAST! They are quality and you get what you pay for! I did notice a few items that are very similar to last year so I am happy to wear them again and still be on trend! As you can see, I do tend to buy more traditional/classic pieces and only get a handful more trendy pieces.
